    • Public (anyone can view your family on Alhamayel)

    • Private (only family member can view your family page and those you give access to once they request it) Note: given permissions to access is limited with an expiry date and can be extended.

      1. Choose for how long you want to keep your family Private .

  8. Choose your plan (Silver, Gold or Platinum)

  9. Choose if you would like to add your Family to the Most Popular Families Sections (exclusive for Platinum members with an additional fee)

  10. Certify that all the provided information is correct by clicking on the box

  11. Agree to the Terms and Conditions of Alhamayel

  12. Click Join Us

  13. Email verification will be sent to you

  14. Confirm your email by clicking the link sent to you

“Most Popular Families” Section showcases the Top Families registered in Alhamayel. It is a feature available for all paid plans with an additional fee of 1000 USD per year. If you decide to Join Most Popular Families in the middle of your subscription, you will only be charged the amount of the days you will be featured as Most Popular which until the end of your Current Subscription. The Validity of Most Popular Families Subscription will be at that point as well; end of your current subscription.

Example: If you are a Platinum Member and decided after 4 months to join Most Popular Families, this how the process will be: Since you have 8 months balance in your subscription you pay: 8 (Months) * 30 (days) * 2.7 USD (per-day rate for Most Popular Families Subscription) = 648 USD. However, you will be listed in Most Popular Families for these 8 months only.

  1. From the family page, click on Upgrade My Plan then choose the plan that suites you.

  2. Confirm your payment details and make the payment.

    • If you are upgrading from Silver to Gold or from Gold to Platinum, you will be charged an additional amount based on the balance days you have remaining in your Gold Subscription. The following formula will be applied: Upgrade amount = Platinum Plan Price (400 USD) – the balance amount in your Gold Subscription. Your new Platinum Plan will be valid for 1 year from the upgrade date.
       

As a Tree Creator, you cannot downgrade your plan. However, if you decide to cancel your subscription with Alhamayel you can delete the whole family tree. You can do so by following these steps:

  1. Click on “Family Members and Assistants” tab in the tree page,

  2. Click delete icon the First Father

  3. Confirm that you want to delete the whole family.

  4. The system will send you and email with deletion link (expires in 2 days)

  5. Click on the link and confirm deletion.

  6. All Family Members and Media are now deleted and no longer visible on Alhamayel

Note: We have to keep the Data for 1 year after deletion, check our Terms and Conditions to know more.

You can request reactivating your account by sending an email to info@alhamayel.com within One Year of the last time the account was active. You will retrieve the whole family tree and media.

A: You will receive an email notification once you are running low on Family Members Nodes and/or Media Storage. You have the following options:

  1. Buy additional data and/or family members nodes. Which you can do by going to the family page and clicking on “Add-Ons” then choose what suites you from the list. The add-on will be Valid until the expiry date of your Current Plan. You will be charged based on the next formula: add on price = add on per-day-rate * the number of balance days in the current subscription.

  2. You can always upgrade your plan to increase your Family members and Media uploads limits.

You will get an email reminder to renew once your subscription is about to expire. If you choose not to renew your subscription, your account will be suspended. All your data will be no longer visible on Alhamayel.

  1. Family Tree Creator: is the person who register the family through Alhamayel Platform

    • Add, invite, delete and / or un/hide family members.

    • Manage the Family Status (Public and Private)

    • Add or delete media

    • Record the right pronunciation of the family name.

    • Invite assistants.

    • Edit family Information.

    • Delete the whole Family tree. Click here for more info about this process.

  2. Family Member:

    • Can only view the family tree and media

  3. Assistant

    • Has all the capabilities of the tree creator except the delete option.

  4. Family Member and assistant:

    • Combination of both (some may have it temporary with an expiry dates given from the creator)

  1. From your Family Tree Page, click on the node that you want to add a family member to.

  2. Click on add related member

  3. Choose Member Type:

    1. Wife:

      Condition: Click on a male family member (the Husband)

      Note: You can add Multiple Wives

      • Choose the Wife’s family from the drop list

      • Choose “Not in the List” if the Wife’s Family is not in the drop list

      • Type in the family name

    2. Husband

      Condition: Click on a female family member (the Wife)

      Note: in case if it is not the first marriage, you can add the recent Husband and the system will always hide the previous Husband/s

      • Choose the Husband’s family from the drop list

      • Choose “Not in the List” if the Husbands Family is not in the drop list

      • Type in the family name

    3. Son

      Condition: Click on one of the parents, both patents should be added before adding the Son.

      • Choose Mother (if you clicked on father’s node)

      • Choose father (if you clicked on mother’s node)

    4. Daughter

      Condition: Click on one of the parents, both patents should be added before adding the Daughter.

      • Choose Mother (if you clicked on father’s node)

      • Choose father (if you clicked on mother’s node)

    5. Brother

      Condition: Click on the sibling node

    6. Sister

      Condition: Click on the sibling node

    7. First Father

      Condition: Only available once you click on the current First Father (the family member on the very top of the tree)

  4. Enter the new member’s details

  5. Enter the new member Kunya

  6. Enter the new member social media accounts

  7. Upload the new member profile and cover photos

  8. Upload the logo of the new member favorite club and type its name

  9. Choose new member role

    1. Family member (can only view the tree)

    2. Family member and assistant (can view the tree and edit, hide member, add media but cannot delete members).

      • Will receive an email to complete the registration process

      • Click the link in the mail, enter your details, accept T&Cs and submit.

  10. Submit

  1. From the family tree page, click on + add file

  2. Choose Service type (Gallery, documents, or museum)

  3. Choose file type (image, video, audio, or pdf)

  4. Upload your file

As a creator, you will be given the option to choose your Family Status (Public or Private) when you are creating your account. However, if you wish to change the Family Status;

  1. Click on My Account:

  2. Choose the Family Status

  • Public (anyone can view your family on Alhamayel)

  • Private (only family member can view your family page and those you give temporary access to once they request it)

  1. Click on Update.

Once you are registered as a Family Creator in Alhamayel, go to the family tree page and click on Record Your Family Pronunciation. You have 10 seconds to record.


 

You can play your recording of the Correct Pronunciation by clicking on the play icon on top of the Family Name at the very top of the Family Tree page. You can repeat the process until you are satisfied with the recording.

You will always be notified by email if your approval is required. However, you can always check the account activity lists from “My Account” page and check what requests need your action.
